Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network Releases Hindi and Spanish Translations of Wildlife Friendly® Certification Standards
Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network (WFEN) is proud to announce the release of its Certified Wildlife Friendly® Global Standards in Hindi and Spanish, marking a significant step toward greater inclusivity and accessibility for communities working at the intersection of conservation and sustainable enterprise.
Over the past year, WFEN has actively been engaged in Patagonia and Central India under the Regenerative Fund for Nature (RFFN) initiative supporting the transition to Certified Wildlife Friendly® and Regenerative practices for wool and cotton production. These landscapes are home to local communities and wildlife that benefit from these practices. By making our standards available in Hindi and Spanish, we ensure that the local communities we engage have clear, culturally relevant guidance to support their transition to a Certified Wildlife Friendly and Regenerative land management.

“Our standards serve as a crucial foundation for enhancing coexistence and supporting local livelihoods,” said Christine Lippai, Executive Director of WFEN. “Translating them into the local language is a natural and necessary step to ensure deeper engagement, understanding, and long-term success.”
The translation of WFEN’s standards strengthens its mission to support livelihoods and landscapes where both people and wildlife can thrive. By breaking down language barriers, WFEN empowers producers and conservation stakeholders to integrate Certified Wildlife Friendly® and Regenerative practices into their work. The Hindi and Spanish versions are now available for download on the WFEN website: Our Standards.

About our RFFN project in Argentina: As part of the RFFN initiative WFEN, in partnership with WCS Argentina, has been supporting Wildlife Friendly® and Regenerative livestock production in Patagonia, an approach that enhances soil health, biodiversity conservation, and natural grassland conservation while benefiting local communities. This management system integrates Certified Wildlife Friendly® practices with regenerative agriculture to create a more resilient landscape.
About our RFFN project in India: WFEN is supporting Wildlife Friendly® + Regen cotton farming in the Satpura-Pench Corridor, a critical landscape for Bengal Tigers, where small-scale farmers face economic and environmental challenges. The project, in collaboration with WWF-India and COFE Producer Company Ltd, equips farmers with sustainable practices that improve soil health, water quality, and biodiversity conservation while ensuring economic viability.
About the Regenerative Fund For Nature (RFFN)
The Regenerative Fund for Nature was established in 2021 by Conservation International and the global Luxury group Kering to support global agricultural projects that promote regenerative practices, restoring soil, protecting biodiversity, and improving community livelihoods. By awarding grants to farming groups, NGOs, and project leaders, the Fund helps scale regenerative agriculture, ensuring long-term land viability while benefiting farmers, animal welfare, nature, and the climate.
